WWE RAW Review: A Great Show Overshadowed By A New Belt

JACK SWAGGER VS DANIEL BRYAN I am convinced the WWE listened to me last week when I talked about having promos before matches. That is why they did in the case of Bryan and Swagger and it worked out really well. Swagger spent the better part of five minutes saying how he would take the title from Del Rio. He backed up this claim by putting on a good match with Daniel Bryan and winning. This is so much more effective than wrestling first and then talking. They gave this match time to get going as well, which was much needed. Swagger looked strong in this outing and his re-branding as a lethal wrestler is becoming more believable as the weeks go on. I€™m not sure what they are doing with Daniel Bryan. I would assume the Team Hell No break-up is on the horizon, but I can€™t say for sure. As much as I enjoyed the earlier segments between him and Kane, the gimmick has run its course. They need to split naturally and get back to singles matches. This was probably my second favorite match of the night. I do need some clarification about Jack Swaggers finisher: Is it the Patriot Act or the Patriot Lock? Next week he€™ll be doing missle-dropkicks called the Patriot Missle in which case I will have WWE In Your House: Ground Zero flashbacks to when The Patriot took on Bret Hart for the title. And 10 year old me thought he had a chance.
