To follow on from yesterday’s story about WWE changing its November 11th event at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro Arena from a Raw TV taping to a non-televised live-event, we now have an update on this change.

As announced by Ticketmaster, Friday, November 8th has now been booked in as a double TV taping of SmackDown and Raw. First up, fans will be in attendance for that same night’s SmackDown show, before that taping will be followed by WWE recording the following Monday’s Raw broadcast. Due to the time it will take to shoot both shows, doors will open at 4:30pm GMT ahead of a 6pm start time.

Unfortunately for Scottish WWE fans, this doubled-up taping will take place at the Manchester Arena – a good 200+ miles from Glasgow – although the November 11th house show is still an option for those wishing to get their grappling fill on that Monday evening.

In terms of the reason for WWE taping two shows on the same night, some are speculating this could be down to another impending Saudi Arabia show; although that is merely a rumour right now.

Tickets for the Manchester-set Raw and SmackDown taping are officially available for between £40 - £377.
