Triple H vs Brock Lesnar
After last week's brawl between Brock and Triple H, and the subsequent 12 stitches in Brock's head, their feud was back to a more pedestrian pace, with Brock nowhere to be seen and The Game cutting a promo in the ring. He of course called Brock out for a match at Wrestlemania, saying that his attack of Vince McMahon was enough to get him back in the ring and looking for vengeance. It was a decent enough promo from Hunter, and this feud between the two brawlers certainly has plenty of intensity. It would be great to have Brock there more often to take the feud to other levels, but his limited contract probably means he will only call in every so often. With Paul Heyman apparently jumping between Brock and CM Punk on a weekly basis, the danger is that this could leave Triple H just shouting at shadows every week, until he finally comes face to face with Brock, and that is no way to get people interested. While WWE have confirmed that Brock and Heyman will respond to Triple H's challenge on next week's Raw, there needs to be a constant build through to Wrestlemania. The two will certainly have to take this match to the next level at Wrestlemania, with their match at Summerslam a three star match at best. If the brawl on last week's Raw is anything to go by, the intensity and brutality will be stepped up, but they need to make sure they do not sacrifice the in-ring psychology that this match needs to sell itself. Triple H the avenger against Brock the wild animal could be a great story, if they can just tell it. Prediction: Expect both men to deliver on the big stage, but I still can't look beyond Triple H taking the win.
