Speaking of which, it was nifty to see Chris Jericho gain some resemblance of revenge on someone who had wronged him in the past. On an episode of SmackDown shortly after WrestleMania XXVI, Jack Swagger cashed in his 'Money In The Bank' privileges to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.

He did so at the expense of Jericho, and that was something Y2J incorporated into his pre-match interview. The match itself from Roadblock was decent, yet not spectacular. If nothing else, it was practical. Jericho requires some wins over mid card babyfaces before facing AJ Styles at WrestleMania, and this provided an opportunity for him to build some steam.

During the bout, the announcers even mentioned the fact that Swagger had beaten Jericho before too. That was a smart decision, because it turned what could have seemed a pointless match into one that had at least some meaning. Credit must go to Michael Cole for putting over WrestleMania, citing Swagger and Jericho fighting for their lives to impress before the big show.

Jericho emerging victorious was the correct result, and it felt satisfying that he did so by using his Walls Of Jericho submission.
