Despite what Vince Russo may claim, Sami Zayn is over with the WWE fans. Admittedly, he's not coming across as a top star, but then that's not necessarily his role right now. His place on the roster at the moment is to provide a stirring opponent for Kevin Owens and the WWE Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania 32.

At Roadblock, there was every indication given that he would do exactly that. Beating Stardust, Zayn looked like he was back in the groove following his most recent injury lay off. There's every chance that a 10-15 minute contest between Owens and Zayn could be a sleeper hit if it's given the green light for the main 'Mania card.

Going just over 12 minutes in total, Sami Zayn and Stardust worked well together. The latter does come across as an enhancement talent, but he was there to make Zayn look better. Stardust achieved that, and it was clever to give the babyface a momentum-building win before April 3.
