It seems implausible that The New Day could cut a bad promo. Even when they're talking about cereal, Xavier Woods, Big E and Kofi Kingston are entertaining. The crux of their pre-match promo at Roadblock was to run down their opponents for the evening, and the main challengers for their WWE Tag-Team Titles.

Neither Rusev nor Alberto Del Rio were anywhere to be found in the corner of the League Of Nations. Only Sheamus and 'King' Barrett emerged to pose a threat to The New Day. This helped the match, because it allowed focus to stay firmly on what was happening inside the ring, and not on the ringside area.

Whilst the match was fine, New Day's promo before popped the crowd more than the actual wrestling action. There's just something infectious about the chemistry the trio possess, it's not hard to see that they're having fun whenever they're out there in the ring.

That comes across vividly. It was also hilarious to see Big E get down on his knees and pretend to be a child as he was running down the League Of Nations.
