3. Physicality Of The Divas Title Match

Charlotte has managed to overcome some early obstacles to her chances of success as a heel in WWE. Firstly, Ric Flair has noticeably taken much more of a back seat role alongside his daughter, which has helped her cause. Secondly, the WWE Divas Champion herself appears much more confident during her own promos.

The little dueling interview which played before Natalya vs. Charlotte served its purpose, but the actual wrestle match was the most pleasing aspect. Going on just after a hot NXT Tag-Team Title clash could have been difficult, but both women went for an altogether different style of battle.

There was a physicality to Natalya vs. Charlotte which really worked. Throughout, the match felt like a true struggle, which is a supreme compliment in an era during which Divas bouts have often felt like extravagantly rehearsed dance routines. The pace was slow and deliberate, but that's not a problem when each strike and move feels like it connects and makes sense.
