It'd be true to suggest that the opening 10-15 minutes of the Raw Women's Title match at Roadblock could have benefited from some more urgency. That can be the problem with timed matches like this one, there's rarely anything to get truly excited about until things start getting down to the nitty gritty.

In the end, the closing sprint was worth the wait. If all wrestling fans have to do to see a great finish is sit through a 10-minute 'feeling out' process, then it must be considered worthwhile. Simply seeing an Iron Man contest between two female wrestlers on a main roster WWE pay-per-view is groundbreaking.

Whilst slow in parts, the historical significance of Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte Flair at Roadblock cannot be discounted. Think of all those times women were handed mere minutes on the pay-per-view stage.

At Roadblock: End Of The Line, Sasha and Charlotte were given close to 35 minutes in total. That represents progress, this was the longest match on the card by some margin. That has to be considered a successful decision.
