WWE Royal Rumble: 10 Awesome Moments

9. Big E's Big Ending

The New Day are still the WWE Tag-Team Champions. Jimmy and Jey Uso finally got that big 2-on-2 tag bout on pay-per-view with the champs, and it's one that's been a brewing since the brothers returned to action. At the Rumble, they were booked to just come up short, but it was the finish that remains the most memorable moment of the match. Looking to put away Kofi Kingston and bag the titles, one of The Usos went for a big splash from the top rope. Seamlessly, Big E swooped in out of nowhere and caught him. Plucking his rival out of thin air, Big E then hit his finishing move, the 'Big Ending'. The entire sequence looked brilliant, and could have easily came out as terrible had the New Day member not been so spot on with his timing. Fans loved the move, because it's always cool looking when someone is caught in mid air and then slammed to the mat. It's also nice to see The New Day continue on as tag-team champions, because there was really no need to take the belts off them at this point. There's not a team in WWE who could carry them so well.
