WWE Royal Rumble: 10 Most Criminally Overlooked Matches

4. Eddie Guerrero Vs. Chavo Guerrero - 2004

Latino Heat was on fire in early 2004, breaking through the glass ceiling and going from midcard tag team wrestler to bona fide singles star. A month before he won the WWE Title from Brock Lesnar, Eddie was involved in a bitter feud with his nephew Chavo (who had enlisted the help of his father and Eddie' brother, Chavo Classic). Their big PPV blowoff match took place on the regrettably rushed undercard of the 04 Rumble. Although this one would have benefited from another five or even ten minutes, what we got was still good. The wrestling was as water-tight as you'd imagine from two guys who have wrestling in their blood, and you could really feel the intensity. Chavo surprisingly dominated the bulk of the action, before Eddie made the comeback and pinned him with a Frogsplash. Not content with the win, he then booted Chavo Sr. in the cajones, before tying Chavo Jr. up in the ropes and wailing on him, drawing blood. Perhaps Chavo should have gone over here, so that he could have challenged Eddie for the title after his programme with Kurt Angle, but it's a decent match regardless.
