WWE Royal Rumble 2015: 10 Potential Winners

3. Daniel Bryan

Wrestling history tells us that business is better when the good guy is fighting to get to the top. No matter whether it's Stone Cold Steve Austin trying to dethrone The Corporation, The Rock attempting to usurp the McMahon-Helmsley Faction, or Eddie Guerrero lying, cheating, and stealing his way through the WWE roster, it's far more entertaining to see the babyface chasing the title, rather than holding onto it. With that in mind, it probably won't be long until Daniel Bryan loses the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. It might not be at Extreme Rules (if he does face Triple H then the internet would probably explode should he beat Bryan for the title), but it will probably be by Summerslam. This could enable a classic Survivor Series 5-on-5 match between The Authority and a team of Bryan's choosing, and would take the Yes Movement angle to a whole new level. Moving forward from that, it would be criminal to not have Bryan win the Royal Rumble at least once in his career. Having not even been in the match in 2014 (much to the audience and Batista's displeasure), it only seems fair to give the bearded one a victory in the esteemed event. Of course, having Bryan headline two Wrestlemania's in a row may seem like overkill, and this year's Wrestlemania moment may be all the WWE want to give to him this year. But if booked correctly, someone like Brock Lesnar could assert his new-found dominance and win the title from Bryan, perhaps in cohorts with The Authority. That could then lead to a much-anticipated rivalry with Cesaro, perhaps having had Paul Heyman betray him for his other 'guy'. Cesaro could defeat Lesnar for the title on the night of the Royal Rumble, and roughly an hour later, we'd already have his Wrestlemania opponent decided, and what a match that could be (see below). That's just a rough idea, but the possibilities for a Daniel Bryan Royal Rumble win are many, and having had such a great time at this year's re-Christened 'Yestlemania', why not do it all again next year?
