I know, it's a long shot. The fact of the matter is that, despite multiple reigns as Intercontinental, U.S., and Tag Team Champion, Kofi Kingston has seeped into the meaningless lower-mid card, being used more as a jobber than a title holder. The one thing that seems to put Kingston into the spotlight every year is his traditional Royal Rumble miracle moment, where he has been known to use JBL's announce chair, the guard rail, and even his own hands to avoid letting his feet touch the floor and become eliminated. Even at the Andre Battle Royal, Cesaro sent him sailing over the ropes, only for his feet to (just) land on the ring steps, thus keeping him in the match. What if Kingston's big moment at next year's Royal Rumble was winning the actual match itself? There's still room for one of his gravity-defying stunts, as that would only make it even more impressive if he did end up winning the end, thus inspiring other such acrobatics in the future. A great potential finish could involve Kingston getting thrown to the outside, before standing up to reveal that only one of his feet has touched the floor, as the other remaining participant was in full on celebration mode allowing Kofi to hop back into the ring and score the victory. It's definitely a long shot, as Kofi Kingston seems to be heading nowhere fast in today's WWE. In terms of acrobatics and the nature of how the championship gets won, the Money in the Bank prize may suit Kingston more. But there's only so long that he can keep providing classic moments in Royal Rumbles, and he deserves to get rewarded for them sooner rather than later. Besides, that would give him the perfect platform to go on to become the first black WWE Champion at Wrestlemania, when others like Booker T, Mark Henry, Ahmed Johnson, Mabel, Shelton Benjamin, and Bobby Lashley, unfortunately failed.
