7. Daniel Bryan Will Return

WWE and Daniel Bryan have been at a much-publicized impasse regarding the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion's in-ring future. Since being put on the shelf with a concussion last spring, Bryan has been given the green light to compete from his personal physician. However, WWE doctor Chris Amann has refused to clear Bryan, and so the company has not brought him back to the ring. At this point, its questionable whether Bryan will ever wrestle in WWE again. Though a third physician has reportedly okayed a Bryan return, only Amann's say truly matters. Given that recent lawsuits have raised questions regarding the credibility of both WWE's medical practices and Amann's personal ethics, the company likely won't be looking to jeopardize those reputations any further by sticking Bryan in the ring anytime soon. Furthermore, even if Bryan were cleared and ready for action, bringing him back for the Royal Rumble would be a mistake. Bryan's return and participation in last year's match was largely responsible for the backlash against Roman Reigns. It's probably a moot point, but the company still knows better than to make him part of this year's road to WrestleMania without a major push.
