WWE Royal Rumble 2016: 10 Reasons The Undertaker Will Return

3. He'd Give The Rumble Match More Star Power

One thing The Undertaker would certainly do is up the stakes in the Royal Rumble. Were he to appear, interest would be extremely high in what part 'The Phenom' may play in the bout. Realistically, fans only really count Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar as logical winners of the match. Triple H would join them if he turns out to be a surprise entrant, but so would The Undertaker. The Royal Rumble has suffered from a lack of plausible winners over the past few years and star power hasn't exactly been prevalent. Undertaker is one of the biggest names in the history of WWE, so he has that aura to help make the Rumble feel more special than it otherwise might. The Royal Rumble pay-per-view is considered the start of WWE's annual 'Road To WrestleMania' hype train. Therefore, the event must feel like something huge that sparks interest from more casual fans. This time of year is all about WWE wheeling out their biggest tricks, and an Undertaker Rumble appearance could be just the ticket.
