WWE Royal Rumble 2017: 10 Things That Must Happen

4. Luke Harper Eliminates Bray Wyatt

On the latest episode of SmackDown Live, Bray Wyatt dropped Luke Harper with his Sister Abigail finishing move. On the surface, it looks like Wyatt has turned his back on Harper and decided to stick with Randy Orton. It was almost like the SmackDown match between Randy and Luke was designed to establish a weak link in the group.

Luke Harper would be a strange babyface. Hardly likeable, his character nonetheless needs some measure of revenge following Tuesday's show. The Royal Rumble match can provide that, and Harper should get back at his cult-like leader by eliminating him from the 30-man fray.

Not only does this give Harper something to shout about, it could also pave the way for further beatdowns at the hands of Orton and Bray. From there, perhaps Erick Rowan can march back onto our screens, aligning with Luke Harper as another who has been cast out.

There remains a chance that Randy Orton will turn full-blown babyface on Bray Wyatt before WrestleMania. Regardless, there's no need to pull the trigger too early on that story. Let Harper's arc breathe a little first.
