WWE Royal Rumble 2017: 10 Things That Must Happen

3. Braun Strowman Makes The Final Four

When The Undertaker returned on the 9 January edition of Raw, confronting Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley and announcing his intentions to enter the upcoming Royal Rumble, Braun Strowman was shown watching backstage. His beady eyes focused keenly on a nearby monitor, the insinuation was clear in hinting at a Strowman vs. 'Taker showdown.

Even if that doesn't happen (WWE's final plans for WrestleMania are likely to change several times between now and the pay-per-view itself), Braun should not be left out in the cold. Come the Rumble, the big man needs to look strong, even if he eventually succumbs to those higher up the food chain than him.

A sound strategy would be to have Strowman reach the 'Final Four' in the 30-man affair. It's unclear exactly who will be joining him, although names like Undertaker, Goldberg, and Brock Lesnar are all excellent candidates.

Unlike when he backed down from Lesnar recently on Raw, Strowman would be up for the fight. If everyone else in the latter part of the Rumble then teams up to take him down, Braun will look like a huge threat.
