WWE Royal Rumble 2017: 10 Things To Expect

7. Cheap Tickets

Want to go to Royal Rumble, but are on a budget? You’ll likely be in luck!

If WWE wants to fill out the enormous dome, they’re likely going to have to set their ticket prices lower than they usually do for a pay-per-view event. Rumble is a classic show, but it still carries nowhere near the cache of WrestleMania, so they simply can’t expect to set Mania prices for it.

While the event is obviously about making money through ticket sales, the company doesn’t want to have a bunch of empty seats there, as that would look embarrassing on their end, and also make for a less fantastic visual.

Of course, the front few rows will still be insanely priced as always, but if you just want to attend the event in any capacity, you’ll likely be able to find some incredibly cheap seats. Or if you’re feeling extra bold, don’t buy anything, and just be in the area the day of the event. Like WWE has done in the past, they may have to give away quite a few tickets to make it look as good as it can on TV.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
