4. Goldberg And Brock Lesnar Eliminate One Another
Two of the favourites to win the Royal Rumble match this year are Brock Lesnar and Goldberg.
Following on from the shocking outcome of their match at Survivor Series, it looks as though the feud between the two will continue in the coming months and most likely conclude at WrestleMania. And while WWE may be tempted to have one or the other win the Rumble match to set up a potential title bout between the two on the big show, they'd be wiser to go in a different direction.
To keep the feud moving along, it'd make sense for Goldberg to once again get the better of Lesnar in the Rumble match and eliminate him, only for a furious Lesnar to return later in the match for payback and eliminate Goldberg. Cue a pull apart brawl between the two with officials struggling to keep the beasts from tearing each other apart, and you've got another great chapter in the rivalry leading to their inevitable showdown at 'Mania in April.
