As of the time of writing, Jason Jordan isn't officially entered into the Royal Rumble match. Instead, he will defend the Raw Tag Team Titles with Seth Rollins against Sheamus and Cesaro. It's likely that the odd couple will drop the belts to The Bar, though, and many superstars have pulled double duty in the past.

It seems that creative are finally listening to the fans and slowly turning Jordan heel. His role as the snivelling son of Kurt Angle has been infuriating, and if he turns on Rollins following a loss to The Bar, and then goes on to win the Rumble match (eliminating a fan favourite like Finn Bálor or Shinsuke Nakamura last), he will generate nuclear heat. Unlike the boos rained down on Roman Reigns or Batista after their victories, however, this heat will be something WWE wants.

While a Raw superstar winning the match is unlikely (it's the industry's worst kept secret that Roman Reigns will be facing Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 34), there's a chance Jordan could win, only to lose the opportunity later down the line. A full-fledged heel turn would undoubtedly cause issues between him and his storyline old man, and Kurt putting Jordan's title shot up for grabs at Elimination Chamber would give WWE a chance to get Roman into the WrestleMania main event without him ruining another Royal Rumble.
