WWE Royal Rumble 2018: 10 Suprise Entrants We Could See

7. MVP

Having MVP return only to be a background extra during the APA's poker game at Raw 25 would be a disgrace. He's an immensely talented performer, and was hugely over before his release in 2010.

When the brand extension was first announced, MVP was one of the top names expected to return. Instead, we got the likes of Curt Hawkins and Jinder Mahal. Fans were understandably disappointed, but having Montel Vontavious Porter enter the Royal Rumble as a surprise entrant would be an even better way to reintroduce him to the company.

He'd be a boon to the mid-card of either brand, but seeing him tangle with the likes of Rusev and Sami Zayn on SmackDown is too delicious a prospect to pass up. Having him enter the Rumble and eliminate Aiden English, only to then be eliminated by Rusev would be a great way to set up an introductory rivalry with the Bulgarian Brute.
