4. Hulk Hogan Makes An Appearance
I mean, I hope not, but the talk that Hulk Hogan will be the special guest host at WrestleMania 35 continues to gather problematic steam.
Look, Hogan is obviously a massive legend. Without him there likely would be no WWE and the work he's done for wrestling over his life is, largely, without equal. But that doesn't mean he should have been brought back into the fold the way he has been. To still be unapologetic about the things he said must be dividing the locker room, even more than its dividing the fans.
Was there a way to being him back? Yep. Was it by cynically using the death of Gene Okerlund to wheel him out in front of a US crowd? Nope. Nope nope nope nope nope.
That said though, he is back and there's nothing interchangeable soycucks like me can do about it. If the plan is to have him host Mania, then announcing it at the Royal Rumble makes a bit of sense. They'd likely prefer to make this an announcement on TV, if only to fill half an hour of a broadcast.
