After a surprisingly strong booking on SmackDown in 2018 - I’ll be honest, I expected them to totally waste him once he split from Matt - WWE announced on their twitter that Jeff Hardy would be in the Rumble this year. They subsequently delete the tweet, for reasons they've neglected to explain, but are still listing him as a participant.

11. Dean Ambrose

Big-Meanie Deanie-Weenie was the next to throw his hat in the ring , announcing on January 7th that’d he be in the Rumble. Which might have slightly telegraphed the fact he was about to drop to Intercontinental belt this week. Dean's heel turn has currently been a bit sloppily handled, but the company are apparently still hot on him so a strong Rumble showing will likely be on the cards.
