Any Intercontinental Title defence shouldn't keep Dean Ambrose from competing in the Rumble. While his post-turn creative direction has been garbage, and yielded some of WWE's absolute worst late-2018 programming, he has immense stock as a performer operating just below main event level. This would be a great spot to give Seth Rollins a measure of revenge by eliminating his former Shield brother, also.
