WWE Royal Rumble 2020: 10 Surprise Entrants We Could See

6. The Undertaker

The Undertaker's last Royal Rumble appearance came in 2017, when WWE presented one of the most star-studded over-the-top-rope battle royals the event has ever seen, with his elimination leading, ultimately, to a showdown with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 33.

Perhaps we'll see a repeat of that three years later. Not with Reigns, because WM33 did not go down well and 'The Big Dog' is probably challenging Bray Wyatt, but with somebody. Anybody. 'Mania definitely benefits from 'Taker's presence and it'd be swell to see him doing something cool in Tampa after missing last year's event, then showing up the next night on Raw.

Fantasy booking Undertaker retirement matches is a fool's errand because while people call for one every single year, the legend just keeps on going. Regardless, let's not say he should face a fellow spooky boy like Aleister Black or Demon Balor in a passing of the torch bout here and instead place him opposite somebody he can squash. That's probably the best way to utilise him in 2020, unless he and Goldberg reckon they have it in them to undo last year's Super ShowDown flop - as that match was actually pretty awesome until Bill brained himself on the ring post.
