WWE Royal Rumble 2020: 10 Things That Must Happen

6. Sasha Banks Almost Costs Bayley

Boop-boop... so traditional.

WWE's own Betty Boop (boop) hasn't given much of a reason for her babyface turn, but Lacey Evans has excelled in the role. She visibly loves being cheered, and she's a fine place-holding challenger for opposite number Bayley for now. Come WrestleMania, it'll be a different story.

All signs are that Raw's women will have a featured spot on the 'Mania card. The same can't be said for the SmackDown lot unless something major starts happening at the Rumble. That "something major" just might be another schism between Bayley and Sasha Banks. No, it's not original, but needs must and WWE don't exactly have anything else lined up.

There's no need to rush things however. Banks can accidentally almost cost Bayley the title against Evans on Sunday and start eyeing up the belt herself on episodes of TV over the next few months. Bayley vs. Sasha is infinitely better for both than some overstuffed Fatal-4-Way, or berths in the Women's Battle Royal.
