WWE Royal Rumble 2021: 10 Surprise Entrants We Could See

1. The Rock

Roman Reigns vs. The Rock is the money match for WWE at the moment.

Both parties seem to want it, Vince McMahon almost certainly wants it, and it's hard to imagine many fans not wanting it. It would be the ultimate spectacle. In an era largely devoid of organic stars, bringing in professional wrestling's biggest mainstream success story to elevate a surging homegrown act finally hitting the form of his career almost makes too much sense. Rock and Reigns' shared history in the Samoan wrestling dynasty is the cherry on top.

The barriers are the same as they've always been, with Rocky's busy Hollywood schedule and insurance complications particularly problematic. He's also 48 years old, hasn't worked a substantial match in almost eight years, and seems to get injured every time he steps back in the ring. There's a lot to overcome in order to make this happen.

If it does, it represents not only a great opportunity (maybe the only opportunity?) to pull a colossal mainstream audience and have them witness one of the world's most famous celebrities minting Reigns as the ultimate pro wrestling bad*ss.
