WWE Royal Rumble 2021: 10 Things That Must Happen
5. Roman Reigns Proves His Toughness
In the end, Roman must win.
His heel run has been a credit to everyone involved since it launched at SummerSlam last year, and there's no way WWE want to end it prematurely. It actually feels like Reigns has only told the first chapter of his 'Tribal Chief' story, so it'd be pitiful of company writers to jump the gun and interrupt his flow.
After KO pushes him to his limits, Reigns should come out on top but wear the wounds of war. This isn't the time for him to look like a million bucks after winning (like he did during that feud with Jey Uso and...kind of again at TLC). Instead, Roman needs to reflect the toil and agony he also had to endure to prove his alpha male status.
Post-match, both Uso and Paul Heyman can fret over the health of their 'Chief' and bleat for medical assistance. In a 'Stone Cold' moment of his own, Reigns can then spurn the doctors and walk out of the ThunderDome like a tough S.O.B.
