The NXT women's division has been rebuilt in Mandy Rose's image, with developmental's aesthetics-first approach pushing her Toxic Attraction stable to the forefront. Photoshoot segments are in - and internet-popping "workrate" matches are out.

So if you're going to have NXT 2.0 representation in the Rumble, Rose has to be there.

The main roster audience's familiarity with her increases the chances of Mandy having a decent Rumble run, too. WWE could use this to play to the idea that the Rumble winner might end up challenging for Rose's NXT Women's Championship, though this almost certainly won't happen in 2022.
