Whether or not Bayley makes the Royal Rumble depends on how far along her injury recovery is.

The latest reporting on the matter suggests that while the Rumble isn't totally impossible, February or March would be a safer comeback bet. Bayley has shot this down, because of course she has. A soon-to-return wrestler wouldn't exactly hop on Twitter and spoil the surprise.

Absent since July, the empty arena era standout has thus far missed the opportunity to get back in front of live crowds, a joy she hasn't experienced since the pandemic's March 2020 onset. That sucks, and her injury was impossibly cruel.

On the bright side, her showing up guarantees a big pop. And if she eliminates Charlotte Flair, then Bob's your SmackDown Women's Title feud for 'Mania.
