WWE Royal Rumble 2022: Ranking Likelihood Of 10 Potential Surprise Entrants

5. Elias (Probability 6/10)

Remember Elias?

He was one of the most consistent members of the WWE roster for years before everything slowly stalled into a nothing tag team with the now-released Jaxson Ryker. Afterwards, vignettes started airing for Elias teasing that he was no longer going to be WWE’s rock star and a more serious character was coming. That was shortly dropped and we have not seen the man everyone wants to walk with since.

Elias has remained quiet on social media since his vignettes stopped airing, which is surprising for one of the most entertaining members of the WWE roster. As long as there are not any unreported injuries to be worried about, it appears a matter of when, not if, the former drifter returns to the WWE.

Tis former 24/7 Champion is also known for having some of the best moments in recent Royal Rumble matches; having a musical segment with a returning Jeff Jarrett in 2019, and being the first of Brock Lesnar’s 13 eliminations in the 2020 match as he played his way to the ring. As is normally the case this time of year, what better place to make a grand return than the Royal Rumble match?
