Say Seth vacates, WWE makes the men's Rumble for the World Title, and Jimmy Uso is part of the 30-man field. Would there be anything stopping Paul Heyman from pulling some strings and having Jimmy step aside so his 'Tribal Chief' can enter the match? This is pro wrestling - loopholes come with the territory.
This'd be totally in character for Roman too. He'd happily palm off his cousin's own dreams to replace Uso in the Rumble. Then, what if Reigns actually wins the whole thing and ends the evening as World Heavyweight Champ? Theoretically, depending on what happens at Elimination Chamber, he could end up challenging for every World Title come WrestleMania.
Gee, that'll placate those who want something new.
Roman has been awesome as The Bloodline's overlord, but taking the Undisputed Title(s) from him and then sticking the hastily-vacated World belt on him in the same night? Nah, that'd be too much for some folks out there to take.
