WWE Royal Rumble 2025: Predicting All 30 Entrants

25. Trick Williams

Now-former NXT Champ Trick Williams is a shoe in to hit WWE's main roster sooner rather than later. This year's Rumble might actually end up being his formal bow as a full-timer on either Raw or SmackDown. Don't forget about this ongoing 'Transfer Window' business the company has been on/off talking about. Admittedly, it's been shelved a bit due to the Netflix hype hogging all of the attention.

Williams would do well to get a good 10 minutes or so out of the 2025 Rumble if he's entering so late. He can score an elimination or two before being welcomed to the big time by the next guy through the curtain. Then, Carmelo Hayes (who'd bitch about being ignored for the Rumble lineup) would try to curry favour with his old NXT partner, but that'd fall on deaf ears.

It's a ready made story for Trick though.

26. Drew McIntyre

These days, Drew McIntyre isn't in the welcoming mood. He'd happily Claymore Kick one Trick Williams out of the Royal Rumble before attempting to relive the glory days of early-2020 by winning the 30-man match for a second time. That, in storyline, is exactly what Drew needs after losing via roll up to Jey Uso during Raw's debut on Netflix.

The announcers would trip over one another to point out how heavy a favourite McIntyre is that deep into the bout. 'Who's going to stop him from winning it all?!', they'd bark. The answer, his old nemesis CM Punk. Or John Cena. Or Roman Reigns. Or perhaps somebody who hasn't even come through the curtain just yet.

Drew's frustrations will only be matched by the gentleman coming out next. They're in largely the same boat heading through WrestleMania season's choppy waters.
