WWE Royal Rumble 2025: Predicting All 30 Entrants

27. Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins is another who lost to a hated rival on Netflix. He stared at the lights for CM Punk after at least a year of bitching about the man's return to WWE and promising to send him packing. Not quite, Mr. Rollins. Now, it's all about rebuilding some battered pride heading into 'Mania 41 - that should be easy for someone once called the 'Architect'.

Or not.

Triple H seems intent on going with a spiralling story for Seth. Unable to conquer the guy he hates most of all, Rollins is drawing some parallels with the frustrated figure Drew McIntyre cut pre-heel turn. Isn't that intriguing? It'll be a minor miracle if Seth manages to escape 'Mania season without going rogue himself. For now, a short-ish Rumble stay can feed into his self-destructive loss of form.

28. Oba Femi

Impressive powerhouse Oba Femi just defeated Trick Williams and Eddy Thorpe to become the brand new NXT Champion at the brand's New Year's Evil 2025 show. That'll pave the way for Trick to hit up WWE's main roster, but he won't be coming to the Royal Rumble alone. The man who took his title will be taking that plane ride to Indianapolis with him.

Why not? Momentum is everything in wrestling, and Oba's entrance would get a meaty 'oooooooh' reaction from the live crowd. No, he couldn't hang around too long if he's coming in at #28, but simply being in the ring with top names like John Cena, Roman Reigns and CM Punk would do wonders for Femi's own status. Some of their main event magic would rub off on him, basically.

It's worth doing even if Oba's Rumble jaunt only lasts for a few minutes. Hell, being tossed out of the Rumble by Roman or Punk is nothing to sniff at. Rumble history shows that people remember cameo artists from NXT.
