WWE Royal Rumble 2025: Predicting All 30 Entrants
17. Goldberg
WWE has confirmed Bill Goldberg for the 27 January edition of Raw. That's the 'go home' episode before the Rumble, and there are strong rumours Goldberg will be announced as GUNTHER's opponent around that time. It's either that or he enters the 30-man match. Or both. The company can very much have their cake and eat it on this occasion.
Goldberg would work as a one off foe for GUNTHER after the Rumble. That's true even if he's cut down by newbie beast Jacob Fatu. Imagine the pop from fans in Lucas Oil Stadium if Bill went nose to nose with Fatu. They'd lose their minds, and it'd be such a cool visual if both guys traded power moves.
Ah yes, this is the best use of Goldberg these days. He shouldn't be overexposed, and he should ultimately put others over as a general rule.
18. Solo Sikoa
The New Bloodline is likely yesterday's concern following Solo Sikoa's loss to Roman Reigns on a blockbuster episode of Raw to kick off the new year. Solo lost the ula fala back to Roman, will be forced to acknowledge him as the 'Tribal Chief', and will surely tumble back down the card for a while until creative comes up with a way to reheat him.
Getting in Bill Goldberg's face is certainly one way to go about that. Alternatively, the wounded pride of Sikoa could be worsened by feeding him to the ex-WCW squash match machine until a rampant Jacob Fatu shrugs off a spear and jackhammer combo to rescue his leader. Then, perhaps GUNTHER can show face to distract Goldberg, thus allowing either Fatu or Sikoa to eliminate him from contention.
Again, that'd be a sweet use of Bill.
