CM Punk is one of the strong favourites to end the night by pointing at a big 'Mania sign as pyro pops off all around him. A win over arch nemesis (or one of them, at least) Seth Rollins on Raw's Netflix intro means he has some momentum behind him. Those keeping score at home may realise that Punk has now won every single one of his major televised matches since losing to Drew McIntyre at SummerSlam last year.

He's about to win another one. Yes, this is a prediction more than a spoiler, because obviously things can change - but Punk winning the Rumble sounds logical. Some would prefer John Cena, whereas others think Triple H should plump for a wild card, but CM finally bagging that elusive 'Mania headline spot sounds like a fairytale his mind needs before his body breaks down and it's too late.

16. Jacob Fatu

Fun and little known fact about Jacob Fatu incoming: He loves Solo.

Just as well, because the New Bloodline's marauding monster will be entering the Rumble solo and trying to turn some heads. Or maybe he'll twist them off instead. Fans can be assured they'll see some excellent power moves, a deceptively agile dude for someone so well put together, and a range of facial expressions that sells to the cheap seats. If cheap seats even exist at WWE shows these days.

Ideally, Fatu will start to empty the ring. If Jimmy Uso is still around, he can toss him. Same goes for the likes of Rey Mysterio, Andrade and possibly a few others. It's important WWE makes Jacob look like a real threat to everyone and a champion in the making, especially considering the New Bloodline's low ebb coming out of 'Tribal Combat' on Raw.
