Former NXT and TNA Champ Trick Williams looked every bit the ready-made star ripe for WWE's main roster when he confronted Sami Zayn on the 2 January episode of SmackDown. Their verbal showdown was one of the chief highlights from that first 3 hour show of the new year, and it'll stand 'Trick Willy' in good stead.

Roll on the Rumble where he can match up against some of the best the company has to offer. The possibilities are endless, but they should include Williams testing himself against members of The Vision, his old pal/enemy Carmelo Hayes and more.

Jey Uso's shock win last year has some on socials believing that Trick is an outside bet to emerge with his hand raised. That'd be a huge surprise. Don't completely rule it out ('anything can happen in WWE'), but it remains unlikely when you stop to think about who else could be in the match.
