Losing an 'Ambulance Match' to arch rival Damian Priest should show Aleister Black exactly where he's at in WWE's pecking order. Triple H likes him, and he clearly sees potential in Black's double act with Zelina Vega, but 'The Game' is unwilling to unshackle Al's potential and go all in on a main event run.

Thus, come the Rumble, he'll be a bit part player. As usual.

Here, Black could find himself utilised as more of a breather between some of the bigger entrants in the 30-man match. He'll just need to find a way to stomach that, then try his hardest to force his way into a featured spot once the inevitable post-WrestleMania season lull hits WWE's product. The fact that SmackDown just went 3 hours again should help him.
