WWE’s Escape The Undertaker Review: 5 Ups & 3 Downs

2. There Are Still Technical Hiccups

Yikes.

Netflix really needs to sort this out and fast, 'cause it's no use to fire up an interactive adventure and find blank slates staring back at you as a timer counts down. Unfortunately, that happened to this viewer in more than one browser - it doesn't seem as though these interactive elements like Firefox or Safari, for example.

Chrome sort of worked, but most text box choices failed to appear there too. These technical hiccups are apparently related to the silverlight function in most browsers, which is a shame. Netflix' function doesn't like it, and so 'Escape The Undertaker' is probably best-experienced on your TV with a remote rather than clicking through on PC or Mac.

Being honest, this feels archaic. Yours truly uses a 2020 MacBook, and it's fully updated. That should be enough, but noooooo. Netflix didn't want to play, and that turned the first play through of WWE's adventure into more of a guessing game than it should've been.
