WWE’s Escape The Undertaker Review: 5 Ups & 3 Downs

1. It Hinges On One Choice

Maybe it was stupid to think that Simms and crew would make their fright-fest a little more open-ended. They're producing something for kids, after all, but would it have stretched resources to make 'Escape The Undertaker' less reliant on just one interactive choice?

No spoilers here on exactly what that choice is, don't worry.

It is true though. Around halfway through, you'll be faced with a simple decision. Get it right and you'll see the "happy" ending. Get it wrong, however, and there's just no way to "win". Figure that out, and it cheapens the overall experience a little - most other choices don't seem to have major bearing on the outcome, in other words.

Netflix doesn't shy away from this, to be fair. Their "Undo Last Choice" button handily lets everyone rewind back and pick another path whenever they like. That keeps things simple, but one does wish they'd included a few more important dilemmas.
