WWE’s Escape The Undertaker Review: 5 Ups & 3 Downs

4. Big E’s Energy Stands Out

Big E is the star of this show.

His performance stands out, and it's never difficult to see why he eventually pushed his way to the WWE Title on mainline company shows. There's a natural vibe to everything E does. For example, when he claps eyes on the old World Heavyweight Championship, E said, "Oh, I need me one of these".

That was a nice inside reference to what's just happened on Raw (Big E won the WWE Title right before this mini-movie was released). The way E constantly refers to The Undertaker as "Uncle 'Taker", even when he's supposed to be sh*tting his pants, is similarly endearing.

E's infectious energy leaps off the screen during the entire experiment, and it genuinely made this fan pick his path whenever the New Day boys went their separate ways. Seeing what the new WWE Champ would make of Simms' haunted house scares was hard to resist.
