WWE’s Escape The Undertaker Review: 5 Ups & 3 Downs

1. Your Kids Will Love It

Numerous reviews have pasted 'Escape The Undertaker' because it isn't that scary. Again, they're missing the point of this flick. It's a gentle ride through mild horror, and it only exists so kids can say, "Ooh!" at some jump scares then laugh their little faces off seconds later at New Day's reactions.

Seriously, young children who also like some WWE will love this.

It's Goosebumps-style fare, and it's something parents can sit down with their kids to watch. 'Escape' is the kind of innocent, wacky nonsense that everyone could've done with a bit more of during lockdown last year. That, coincidentally, is why the guy writing this was so charmed by that aforementioned 'Boneyard' bout at 'Mania 36.

It was OTT, and everyone was in on the gag. This Netflix-produced haunted house ride is exactly the same, and it's a plus that it never takes itself too seriously. Sit down with your kids, grab some popcorn and let them grab the remote. Honestly, you'll have a great time.
