Gotta' make that self-deprecating merch money!

WWE's official merchandise store is selling some interesting, self-deprecating WrestleMania 36 t-shirts.

WWE Shop has two p*ss-taking shirts on offer. The first shows the 'Mania 36 poster, has both 4 and 5 April dates on it and the message, "Too Big For One Night". On the back, the shirt reads, "I Wasn't There".

The other is very similar, but boasts that defiant "I Wasn't There" message on the front this time. It also has the Tampa Bay-inspired logo blown up rather than showing any roster members.

Clearly, someone in the merch department fancies a little laugh.

It isn't out of character for WWE to make light of dire circumstances. Around a decade or so ago, the company began selling 'John Cena Sucks' shirts to capitalise on a growing market of fans who didn't like the poster boy's main event domination.

That, probably like this, was guaranteed money in the bank.

WrestleMania 36 will take place across multiple nights in front of exactly zero fans for the first time ever in early-April. These are strange times, but Vince McMahon won't let that stop him from raking in cash.
