WWE: Sheamus To Join Evolution?

The "Celtic Warrior" Sheamus might be the newest member of the Evolution stable, reports ProWrestling.net. While nothing is official at this point, there continues to be discussions about the Irishman joining the group that currently has Triple H, Randy Orton and Batista in it. Former Evolution member Ric Flair is no longer an active wrestler in WWE, so he hasn't been a part of the group's reunion. Sheamus would seem like a good candidate to join the group. He really hasn't done much since he returned from injury at the Royal Rumble until he won the US Title on Raw this past Monday. There have been indications that a heel turn was forthcoming for him. He showed a cocky, brash attitude when he did a promo after his title win on Raw that could be a sign that things will be changing for him sooner rather than later. There's also some history between Sheamus and Evolution members. He faced off with Triple H in a one on one match at WrestleMania 26 that was won by Triple H. The feud did help Sheamus become a bigger star. He's also wrestled Orton many times over the years. A perfect scenario for the turn seems to be at Payback on June 1st. That's when we're expected to see another Evolution vs. Shield 3 on 3 match. How about Sheamus running in towards the end of it to help Evolution win? It would be an awesome way to introduce him as the newest member of the group. With Batista rumored to take off for several months after Payback, it would be the right time to introduce a new member in order to keep it strong with at least three guys. Whether they add others or not down the road is unknown at this point. What Sheamus brings to the table is a guy with credibility that the fans have known as a badass whether he he's a heel or face. With three WWE World Title reigns under his belt, there's a very good chance that he could win more as a member of Evolution. Joining that group makes him a bigger star and gives him more positive momentum that he needs.
