As aforementioned, there are few behind the announce desk who can touch Mauro Ranallo for accuracy in WWE. Even legendary figure Jim Ross has remarked on Ranallo's well-researched approach, the man really nails it on a weekly basis. Therefore, he can be forgiven for making one small error on this week's SmackDown.

Caught up in the heat of the action, Mauro accidentally called Dolph Ziggler 'The Showstopper'. Of course, longtime fans will remember that this was a regular nickname for one Shawn Michaels, a man Ziggler has undoubtedly patterned himself after over the years. That's probably why Ranallo made such a minor mistake.

Quickly correcting himself, the announcer said that Dolph was actually 'The Show Off', not 'The Showstopper'. From there, he rightly said that Ziggler took a lot of influence from the man once dubbed 'Mr. WrestleMania' due to his consistency on WWE's grandest stage.

There are certainly worse things to happen to a wrestler than being compared to Shawn Michaels. This is one Dolph Ziggler can take as a compliment from Mauro Ranallo.
