Anyone who has watched WWE's product over the past decade or so will be well-accustomed to the in-ring introductions that mark major title matches. Most of the time, these special moments are reserved for WWE or Universal Title bouts rather than the secondary belts on Raw and SmackDown. That wasn't the case this week.

AJ Styles vs. Kevin Owens was treated like a big deal by the creative team, who felt it best to have ring announcer Greg Hamilton wait until both men were in the ring to run through their details. This isn't normal behaviour for WWE, but it is cool that they wanted to enhance the US Title match like this.

The US Title actually came across as equal to the WWE Title on the show, which is again abnormal. It just goes to show that having guys involved who fans take seriously can bring the level of any title in the company up a notch. Long may that continue.
