6. Jinder Mahal

The fact that we're almost halfway through this list and Jinder Mahal has made it this far into the rankings says all that needs to be said about which show got the better of the Superstar Shake-Up.

Since returning to WWE as "Hardbody", with a new look and a "wellness" that is off the charts, surprisingly Mahal has been featured more prominently in the last few weeks than he was at almost any point during his previous tenure. He's not winning matches, but he's on TV weekly making the most of his chances. The fact that he was chosen as the man to work the spot with Rob Gronkowski during The Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 33 suggests the company obviously has developed some trust in him.

In his SmackDown debut, Jinder continued his program with Mojo Rawley and the New England Patriots tight end, butting heads with Gronk once again, helping to elevate Rawley while giving WWE their coveted celebrity spot.

Now that he's free of the comically entertaining shackles of 3MB, Mahal has a chance to be taken seriously as an upper midcard heel, something that seemed like a preposterous proposition before his recent return.

Look for Mahal to continue to progress as a performer and slowly move up the card in what Shane McMahon himself calls "the land of opportunity."
