WWE Smackdown Review: 5 Things We Learned (May 25th)

4. Dolph Ziggler Is Tough As Nails

The no disqualification match between Dolph Ziggler and Batista easily stole the show on SmackDown. Big Dave is looking better with each passing week, but it was Ziggler who stood out in this match. He hit his usual array of signature moves, but what made him stand out was how aggressive he was against Batista. They were throwing each other into the barricade and steel steps, hitting each other with chairs and throwing each other over announce tables. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zK84uzmw2lU This was one of the better hardcore-style matches we have seen on regular TV in quite some time. Ziggler really looked like he was looking to impress someone with his performance and hopefully he did. Ziggler is too valuable for WWE to let him slip through their fingers. He may experience periods of less success, but he always ends up being pushed eventually. We just have to be patient and wait for the right feud to come along and elevate Ziggler to that next level.
