With ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt set to challenge the winner of this Sunday’s Universal Championship match between Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman, local advertising for WWE live events seem to indicate that Rollins will be retaining the gold at this Sunday’s Clash of the Champions PPV.

The Fiend has already laid down the gauntlet to compete for the Universal Championship at October 6th’s Hell in a Cell PPV, and advertising for September 21st’s Edmonton, Alberta live event is promoting Seth Rollins vs. The Fiend for the Universal Championship - suggesting that Seth walks out with the title this weekend.

Also advertised for that Edmonton show are Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks for the Raw Women’s Championship, and Braun Strowman taking on the Good Brothers tandem of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson in a 2-on-1 handicap match.

Of course, the card is always subject to change for such events – so things may look a little different by the time September 21st rolls around. For now, though, live event advertising has the three aforementioned matches scheduled for several post-Clash of the Champions house shows.

In addition to Rollins vs. Strowman this Sunday, that unlikely pairing will also be defending their recently-won Raw Tag Team Championships against Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode at the event – a match that many expect the tag straps to change hands in ahead of the main event Universal Championship bout.

At this point, it’s believed that Bray Wyatt will surface on this coming Monday’s edition of Raw to confront the winner of said Universal Championship contest.
