WWE Stomping Grounds: 8 Things We Learned

7. KO & Sami Should Be Tag Champs

This traditionalist loves tag-team wrestling, and it's a shame that such devotion isn't reciprocated by WWE these days. Indeed, they've got a love-hate relationship with duos, and it shows in their booking of both tag leagues on Raw and SmackDown. OK, so both sets of champs are fine for now, but WWE need to keep that momentum going.

When The Revival or the team of Daniel Bryan and Rowan drop their prizes, someone worthwhile must be there to pick them up. Drum roll, please, 'cause the perfect solution is staring WWE right in the face: Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, otherwise known as a team who (along with the consistently stellar New Day) made gold out of sh*t on Sunday.

That tag match was hotter than the sun.

It also proved that KO and Sami need to align more often. Their natural chemistry is relatable for fans, and they gel so well when the bell rings. It's silly that they've never been tag-team champs in WWE to date. In the second half of 2019, WWE should put that right.
