6. Supporting Casts

The Rock versus Triple H in 1998 had become a battle of fortified stable leaders on the rise. Triple H had taken over the reigns of DX from Shawn Michaels and the band had become tighter than ever before. Meanwhile, The Rock had overthrown Faarooq as leader of The Nation and his popularity would only skyrocket in the months to come. The two stables had become very familiar with one another throughout the Triple H/Rock feud, and they had just the right formula to produce two of the biggest stars in the history of wrestling.
